Our qualifications in logistics and transport are offered from Level 1 through to Level 6, and are delivered through classroom training delivered by accredited training providers across the world. Our courses can be taken on a full-time or part-time basis according to the individual training provider.
Africa Entry Award in Logistics & Transport
The AICTL Africa Entry Award is a new qualification launched in 2017. It is ideal for school-leavers, apprentices, and those exploring a career in logistics or transport at a basic level. It is ideal for young people planning to enter the sector.
Africa Diploma in Logistics & Transport
The latest version of the AICTLS Diploma was launched in 2017. This course follows on from the Certificate and is designed to support professionals involved in planning logistics operations and who are already in supervisory or operational management roles. It is also ideal for graduates with non-business degrees moving into the logistics field. It operates at Dip HE/HND level (Level 5 equivalent to 2 years of a degree).
Africa Advanced Diploma in Logistics & Transport
This is the highest level qualification in the AICTLS ‘suite’ of qualifications. Operating at Level 6 (degree standard) this qualification is designed for the next generation of business leaders, helping operational managers and technical specialists to think strategically, carry out in-depth research and stretch their knowledge and competence.
We now offer a more flexible way of building up your learning and qualifications. The Entry Award, Introductory Certificate, Certificate and Diploma qualification are all built up of separate units. These are available as stand-alone units and can be studied as short courses. Check our approved centres to see who is offering this option.
We will accredit training organisations, consultancies and short course providers to deliver single modules, either exactly as they are on the syllabus, or with additional local activities, visits and content to form a short course. Delegates who pass the exam will receive a Unit Certificate which can be topped-up to the full qualification at a later stage. Delegates who simply attend the course without taking the test will receive a CPD certificate of attendance.
This new provision means that internationally more people will be able to access our qualifications, more businesses will be able to provide the modules as part of their core training or induction programmes and more professionals will be able to gain credit towards a formal qualification.
Costs are set locally by the individual provider.
